Gravity Duck [Online]
If you like VVVVVV you’ll like this. The concept is similar, except that the stages are one screen and you can change the gravity to all sides.

Anticipation [Online]
A cousin of mine had this game, and it was the kind of game that no kid wanted to play.
You have to guess a dot connected form and enter the word below. The forms where pretty abstract, and it was pretty challenging for me and my friends as kids because we didn’t knew english (i’m from Chile).
Now i realize that this is a good drinking game, enjoy!.

This is one of the coolest Ninja games i’ve played. You have to jump around, collect gold squares (if you want points) and touching little monitors to unlock the door to the next level.
The physics of this game are great, and the ninja controls very good, albeit a little floaty, but that’s the fun of it.

The Flintstones: The Rescue of Dino & Hoppy...
It’s not the best platformer of the system, but i had this game and it’s not bad. You play as Fred, clubbing every dinosaur to oblivion, collecting coins, and playing basketball games.
The music always stuck out as one of the highest points of this game, and the levels are varied and fun (although a litttle frustating later).

This isn’t really much of a game, but is more like an experience. You don’t have any goals or hazards, you just have to move the paper planes around and fly wherever you want.
If you put some nice relaxing music along with it, it can be very therapeutic.
PS: this game uses the ancient shockwave technology, so you better get it.

Kill Me! [Online]
In kill me you play as a kind of suppa man that can die 4 times until the last body dissapears. You use the bodies as platforms and jumping springs. You can move them by pressing the space bar.

A pretty cool fast platformer. You get power ups that grant you more speed and jumping abilities.
The constant voiceover gets pretty tiring, is like a wrestling commentator, and the music isn’t very good, but there’s still fun to be had here.

Faxanadu [Online]
I had played this game few times, and not for very long. The controls are a little clumsy and it hasn’t aged quite well, but i still feel drawn to it.
Maybe it’s the graphics, or pure nostalgia. I remember a screenshot of this game in a NES poster that came with some games, and feeling so drawn to this mysterious world.
Maybe today i can get into this game and discover more of it.

3D wasn’t enoughin the 90’s, so we have 4D!.
I remember this game beign very rounded for it’s time, you could customize your boxer in a lot of ways, and the fighting mechanic was good.
Now it looks terrible, but it’s got charm and character, something you can’t say about much games this days.

Cardinal Quest [Online]
This is a pretty simple roguelike, but i chose it for today because it’s another great use of the amazing HTML5 technology.
You can choose three classes and your favorite color (odd). It’s kind of easy for a roguelike game, and there’s no much enemy variety. The music could use some tuning too, it’s too hip and fast for this kind of game.

The Linear RPG [Online]
The Linear RPG is pretty much what it name says, and more.
You move your character through a series of lines and dots, automatically fighting and gaining experience by moving the character back and forth. The black dots recover your HP, and every new line has tougher enemies.
I really like the spin that this games gives to the stalled genre of JRPGs, that have become more of a corridor game...

Sokoban [Download]
Oh man i love the CGA palette, those colors always take me back. I remember playing this game at my dad’s accountant office.
In this game you play as a constructor or something, that has to push boxes to the diamond shaped. The tricky thing is that you can only push the boxes, not grab them, so thing ahead!. The later levels get pretty tough, so take your time with those boxes.

Nuclearoids [Online]
A pretty cool puzzle is Nuclearoids. You have to “blow up” other nucleus by clicking one nucleus and hope that it will hit the rest.
The chain effect is pretty satisfactory combined with the awesome sounds it makes, and the techno musics is just fitting for this game.
Enjoy some exploding nucleus time with Nuclearoids.

Zwingo
This game is like Bocce, well, a little, in reverse. You have to keep the center sphere in the center, by swinging, well, what more a sphere.
What really shines here are the physics of the game. It feels really satisfactory to swing that sphere around while hitting the black ones.
It has an addictive quality, so watch out!.

In this neat puzzle game you move a purple block that sticks other blocks to it. Your objective is to clear the level by putting the required blocks in the empty color squares.
It gets interesting with more blocks, because you have to avoid some to be able to move freely and put the right ones in the spaces.

This awesome platformer has a very strong Portal vibe. You receive instructions by some strange entity that lies to you all the time (or does it?).
Your goal is to advance to the next room by touching some light beams. It’s very interesting the dynamic that’s created between what you’re told and what you are supposed to do.
